Automatic apartment sheets for Revit

Your apartment geometry. A finished sheet set. Your company standards.

Apartment Sheets creates automatic apartment sheets in Revit: it identifies repeated layouts, calculates crops around walls, entrances and balconies, and creates views and sheets from your Revit Areas.

Preview before creation. Review and update existing sheets when the design changes.

01 · Geometry intelligence

The geometry does the groundwork.

Comparing apartments and tracing crop boundaries can consume much of the documentation effort. Apartment Sheets handles both as part of generating the set.

Automatically identifies repeated apartment layouts

Identify repeated layouts and create one sheet per apartment type. Mirrored apartments remain separate, and you can choose whether balconies distinguish types.

Choose Geometry for individually modelled apartments or Group Type for repeated model groups. Review the assigned types, then select one representative per type to create the sheet set.

Creates apartment crops to your drawing standard

Create apartment plan crops with configurable margins and options for entrance openings and adjacent balconies. Adjust wall exclusions and review a representative selection before producing the full sheet set.

02 · Your company standards

Configure your standard once. Reuse it across the work.

Your templates and titleblocks

Apply your view template for scale, visibility and annotation settings. Use your titleblock with shared parameters for the values you want the tool to populate.

Your parameters and naming

Map Area values to sheet and titleblock parameters, transform text values and configure naming patterns. Set sheet parameters for your project browser organisation.

Your reusable setup

Save configurations as named presets or company defaults. Reuse them on other projects and copy presets to other machines for a shared starting point.

03 · Review and updates

The next revision starts with the sheets you already have.

Review what will change before applying it

Before creation, preview proposed sheet numbers, names and conflicts. After a design change, Update Sheets re-reads the model and lists changes to crops, mapped parameters and indicators.

Choose the changes to apply. Sheets whose Areas have been deleted are flagged for review; applying their removal deletes both their view and sheet.

In the documented example, the preview identifies crop and parameter changes, with 3 of 18 sheets selected.

04 · Getting started

Bring your model and standards into the workflow.

  1. 01

    Prepare the model

Use numbered and named Revit Areas for apartments. Check wall functions and area boundary placement before creating sheets.

  2. 02

    Prepare your office standard

Choose a view template and titleblock. Provide the shared parameters for mapped values and visibility parameters if you want position indicators. Leave crop control to the tool.

  3. 03

    Confirm licensing and install

Contact us to discuss licensing and the supported Revit version for your team. The manual covers MSI installation, sign-in and deployment settings.

  4. 04

    Validate a representative selection

Configure mappings and crop rules, preview the set and inspect the output. Save the agreed setup as a preset or company default for reuse.
